A few weeks ago, i attempted to go to an AAPI Food market. Unfortunately the lines were extremely long — so it was hard to gather anything. HOWEVER, I was happy to walk around in nice weather and gather inspiration. 1 booth was a Filipino booth which offered deep fried watermelon. After going to a BBQ and cutting watermelon, I had left over watermelon, so this was this weekends adventure. Watermelon Katsu with miso glazed sauce.
